Abstract
The oil paint are made by the mixing and grinding pigment with a drying vegetable oil such as linseed oil.Poppy seed oil,walnut oil,safflower oil are example for the pigment.The paint can be applied to many different surface and textures.It most common being in canvas.The choices of oil imparts a range of properties to this oil paint.Before painting,the canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and its surface is prepared with layers of glue and primmer.If an artist might use several different oils in the same painting depend to the specific pigment and effects desired.Here is the brushes are on two types,used in oil painting are stiff hog hair bristle brushes generally used for covering large ares,then the soft hair brush made from sable or synthetic material.These brushes are commonly used for the fine details painting.At the same time,satisfactory linear treatment and crisp effects are easily obtained.Opaque transparent painting all lie within its range,and it is unsurpassed for textural variation.
